The Kansas community is mourning the heartbreaking loss of Jack Fleischaker, a 19-year-old freshman at Kansas State University whose life was tragically cut short following a fall from a fraternity house window in Manhattan. Originally from Overland Park, Jack was a graduate of Blue Valley Northwest High School and had recently begun his studies in finance at K-State. Jack was also an active member of the Sigma Chi fraternity, where he served as philanthropy chairman. Emergency responders transported Jack to Stormont Vail Hospital, where he later passed away from his injuries.
