The Mobile community is reeling after the arrest of 54-year-old William Graham Oliver, who has been charged with eight counts of capital murder in the deaths of 46-year-old Lisa Fields and her two children: 17-year-old Keziah Luker, who was pregnant, and 12-year-old Thomas Cordelle Jr.
According to the Mobile County Sheriff’s Office, the tragic discovery was made on April 20, when the victims were found inside their Wilmer home, each in a separate room. Investigators revealed that all three had been bound with zip ties and suffered fatal wounds. Lisa Fields sustained stab wounds and a throat injury, while Keziah was shot, and Thomas died from a throat injury.
Sheriff Paul Burch addressed the immense emotional toll of the case, especially given that one of the victims, Keziah, was expecting a child. Each life lost was a profound tragedy that left the community reeling. Authorities believe Oliver had known the family for some time and was present at their home the night before the discovery. Investigators are working on a tight timeline, with strong circumstantial evidence connecting Oliver to the crime.
As the community of Mobile grapples with this unspeakable loss, they remember Lisa, Keziah, and Thomas—each a beloved member of the family—who are now gone far too soon. May their memory inspire justice and a deep call for healing in the days ahead.
